2006-07-26/27 . Innsbruck

to Innsbruck!

26th

at the train station...

at the Swarovski Crystal Worlds

a cute little toddler I found in the city center while making a call...

beautiful organ in one of the cathedrals...

nice night shots ...

27th .... flew back to Amsterdam

2006-07-24/25 . Graz

the route to Graz was decidedly on higher ground...we were in the clouds!!!

we found a nice cozy restaurant where we had really a lot to eat...xiaoling had ribs; rai and I each had schnitzels...

my schnitzel cannot be called a cutlet...it's a pig...

poor rai...''i'm a slave....for you...''

24th
today was a monday, so unfortunately Peter Cook's bag pipe was closed...but we could still take some exterior shots...

the cafe bridge just near by...

and onwards to the hill top via the funicular...

...Rai doing the 'bee' dance...

it was hot so we had another beer...seriously beer does cool you down...burp***

rai the thinker....ya rite...

xiaoling gleefully killing the bee that taught Rai how to dance...

let's not talk about me...

xiaoling the white , rai the black...

while in the park on the way down from the hill top, we decided to take a nap...it was a really lazy afternoon if you havnt noticed by now...

and there was a really cute little toddler too!

the tour guides deciphering where we were...

we were probably the only customers this guy was gona get for the night...so he gave us all the meat he had left on the rotisserrie...he even toasted us some bread...

the bag pipe at night seen from the hill top

the bag pipe seen close up...

25th
sorry no interior photos...the gallery assistants outnumbered us three to one...they captured very possible angle; never let us out of their sights...then again all the interior shots can be gotten from the brochure...

but one thing they don't show in the brochure...the magnificent view from the loading bay...a pity there is no path through the building via this corridor...the only ones who are able to experience this are the service personnel...pity pity...

later on at noon, we visited the mess of a local catholic school...nice organic shape...but the sister who graciously showed in complained about its impracticality...too noisy...difficult to use...yada yada...
