Eurotrip 1 Day 5 . Hamburg

Today is Sunday and we went to the fish market in the morning. We ate some really oily fish and bought Uncle Percy some pretty orchids.

In the afternoon, Uncle Percy's godson came over to show us around Hamburg in his Peugeot 205. The harbour first, then we stopped by the Mercedes show room then passed by a restored cathedral.

We were also taken to Lubeck, the least bombarded city of Germany and after that to the nearby beach where we had a lovely Italian dinner.

The entire afternoon for me was underscored with an incessant headache that was probably caused by my wearing my jacket and falling asleep in the heat of the afternoon while Ah Woh(Uncle Percy's godson) drove us to Lubeck. At the Italian restaurant we met his girlfriend and their other friends who consisted of many 'divas', one of which was only 21 years old and had already divorced and was driving a new BMW 735, owns a restaurant, dresses like a supermodel and walks around like one too. Ah Woh's girlfriend is a Filipino, the other 'diva' was from Czechoslovakia, and another Filipino who sat beside me. Boy was the bunch interesting.

By the time we got back, I was reeling from my headache, and couldn't eat the curry that
Uncle Percy had prepared for us. He gave me some stomache pills and I went to bed immediately. Good thing Meiyi ate a little of the curry...I mean the effort spent...
