Eurotrip 1 Day 2 . Hamburg

This morning was pretty lazy, we woke at around 10 and had a pretty hearty breakfast before setting out for the harbour area(top 2). After that we headed for the city centre where the Rathaus(municipality) is and it so happened that there was a demonstration by the students of Hamburg against the latest government policy to charge school fees, even if it were just a token sum of 500 euros a year or something to that extent.

Waiting at home base was dear old Uncle Percy with really good food; this time it was pressure cooked chicken in its own oil and herbs, chinese stewed pork ribs and rice. Uncle Percy had been the boss of a chinese restaurant some years ago, so this spread was nothing! Sorry the food was so good that I ate too much rice and had a little tummy upset and forgot to take a photo of it.
